The Musings and Mutterings of a Nature Girl

Un sueño de naturaleza

Geek In The Woods
Nixve: Feminist, Geek, Naturalist, Artist, Gamer, Book-addict, Educator.

I generally identify as "very liberal" and "agnostic with a spiritual side". A number of things about my life are definitely Not Normal. Specifically, the way I view and talk about gender, sex and relationships.

This journal is about 75-90% friends only depending on the week and my mood.

"And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair." - Khalil Gibran

"I am in love with this world. I have nestled lovingly in it. I have climbed its mountains, roamed its forests, sailed its waters, crossed its deserts, felt the sting of its frosts, the oppression of its heats, the drench of its rains, the fury of its winds, and always have beauty and joy waited upon my goings and comings." - John Burroughs

"Feminism is the radical notion that women are people." - Cheris Kramarae and Paula Treichler

"There isn't a single aspect of my personality that I take off with my clothes."

"You must be proud, bold, pleasant, resolute, and now and then, stab, as occasion serves." - Christopher Marlowe

"One blooming skunk cabbage upgrades the whole neighborhood." – Robert Sund
